Santa Rosa National Park

Scene of the historic Battle of March 20, 1856, the Santa Rosa Park is home to the most famous dry tropical forest in Central America and is the only Protected Wilderness Area that has a historical museum on its territory. There are also two beaches: Naranjo and Nancite where Olive Ridley sea turtles nest. There are also many trails and lookout points like: Monument to the Heroes from 1856 and 1955 and the historical house.
